President Donald Trump may not visit the United Kingdom after there was no mention of that in Queen Elizabeth’s speech. Trump accepted the Queen’s invitation for him to meet with her when Prime Minister Theresa May visited Washington in January. There is a potential protest against Trump and there were reports that trump may have changed his mind in visiting. No date has been set for Trump’s arrival as the Queen didn’t mention it. Wednesday’s Queen’s Speech saw the monarch announce the government’s legislative programme for the next two years at the State Opening of Parliament. The monarch always also…

President Donald Trump may not be having the best of his team as some of them are already dropping their leadership positions. Six members of the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS (PACHA) have just submitted their resignations. This came through a letter they wrote in Newsweek magazine, citing they no longer feel like working for a president who doesn’t even care. “As advocates for people living with HIV, we have dedicated our lives to combating this disease and no longer feel we can do so effectively within the confines of an advisory body to a president who simply does not…

President Donald Trump has faced some challenging and difficult moments since he became the president. The Russia investigation, the resigning of his key members and obstruction of justice probe are starting to take a toll on him according to multiple advisors. According to Politico: “But Trump, too, is cognizant of the comparison to Nixon, according to one adviser. The president, who friends said does not enjoy living in Washington and is strained by the demanding hours of the job, is motivated to carry on because he ‘doesn’t want to go down in history as a guy who tried and failed,’…

I’m starting to suspect that Donald Trump may not have been right when he said, “You know, I’m like a smart person.” The evidence continues to mount that he is far from smart — so far, in fact, that he may not be capable of carrying out his duties as president. There is, for example, the story of how Trump met with the pastors of two major Presbyterian churches in New York. “I did very, very well with evangelicals in the polls,” he bragged. When the pastors told Trump they weren’t evangelicals, he demanded to know, “What are you then?”…

Vice President, Mike Pence did what he boss President Donald Trump is fond of doing, lying. Pence posted a tweet that claimed he met an Iowa couple who lost their health coverage due to Obamacare.  Strangely, he met the mystery couple right outside of his plane at the airport in Iowa. It is not likely that Pence would allow these persons to meet him in that environment, especially since they may not be able to afford health insurance It’s highly unlikely that Mike Pence would allow two people to approach him in such an intimate space who can’t afford health…

Things are falling apart for Republicans as their hypocrisy is exposed. The Senate Republicans have ended up sparking a debate with their way they handled Trumpcare, which was done behind closed doors. The good news is that some people are taking details and the Daily Show has compiled clips from the same authors of the 2017 bill apparently furious over the “secretive” process they claim occurred with Obamacare. The  Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) is putting his weight behind Trumpcare despite the fact; no one has seen the bill that they are about to vote on.  Not even…

This is VICTORY!!! Democrats in the Senate are not going to let Republicans have a field day when it comes to passing Trumpcare. Democrats have put forth a plan that is aimed at repealing the bill written in the dark. For a business to proceed in the Senate, senators usually make a request of “unanimous consent” to move on. Democrats plan to object to almost all such requests, which is their right, slowing the legislative body down considerably. These brave men and women will equally make their consent requests, aimed at pushing the bill back into committee and delaying a…

President Donald Trump has revealed that  that an American student who died after being detained in North Korea should have been brought home sooner, calling his ordeal “a total disgrace.” “It’s a disgrace what happened to Otto Warmbier,” Trump said the White House with the president of Ukraine. “It should never, ever be allowed to happen. And frankly, if he were brought home sooner, I think the results would have been a lot different.” The president’s comments may appear to mimic the attack and criticism of Obama from the family of Otto Warmbier, who died at the age of 22.…

Many of us are looking forward for President Donald Trump to be impeached. However, there is scary news from Sen. Al Franken about Mike Pence. He said that Pence, “would be worse” for domestic policy than Trump. Franken railed against the Vice President’s influence on Trump. “Pence ran the transition and some of the very worst nominees, I felt — [EPA chief Scott] Pruitt, [Education Secretary Betsy] DeVos, [HHS Secretary Tom] Price, [Budget Director Mick] Mulvaney — were Pence selections, clearly, I think,” Franken told IBT. “He’s ideological, I consider him a zealot, and I think that in terms of…

Army Surgeon General Nadja West has become a model of confidence for all women around the world. Nadja is  the first female African-American three-star general in US Army history. This is the highest-ranking woman ever to graduate from West Point. Yet, she has struggled to believe in herself. Her story shows that even the toughest and most powerful women in Washington have overcome not just external barriers but internal ones. “My parents always said of course you can do anything you want, but I never did,” West told me candidly. “I would always have confidence issues: ‘I don’t think I…
