Ivanka Trump just revealed that the testimony of James Comey accusing her father, President Donald Trump is nothing to worry about.
She said “My father felt very vindicated in all the statements that he’s been making, and feels incredibly optimistic,” Ivanka said in an interview on “Fox & Friends.”
Ivanka described how her father was “incredibly optimistic” after the testimony and eager to change the subject to infrastructure. “With all the noise, with all the intensity of the media coverage and obviously what makes headlines, ultimately, we’re really focused on why the American people elected Donald Trump as their president,” she said.
She’s also shocked at how much people don’t like her father, even with his record of bigotry, misogyny, bragging about sexual assault, islamophobia, fearmongering, warmongering, anti-Semitism, or one of a dozen other reasons. “It is hard, and there is a level of viciousness that I was not expecting,” Ivanka said. “I was not expecting the intensity of this experience, but this isn’t supposed to be easy. My father and this administration intends to be transformative, and we want to do big, bold things.”
And like her father, she made sure to mention the “historic” trip, saying: “To have covered the three largest world religions over the course of four days, it was deeply meaningful.” However, she forgot about Hinduism and Buddhism, which has many more followers than Judaism. This isn’t surprising, considering that she seemed to forget that the Temp Mount was “the holiest site of [her]faith” and not the Western Wall, as she claimed on Twitter.
