Hollywood actor Jim Carrey can be crazy as hell when it comes to taking on President Donald Trump and his team. First, it was Sarah Huckabee Sanders that he painted.
“This is a painting of a so-called Christian whose only purpose in life is to lie for the wicked. Monstrous!”
Then, Carrey went after Trump next.
“Dear Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery @NPG, I know it’s early but I’d like to submit this as the official portrait of our 45th President, Donald J. Trump. It’s called, ‘You Scream. I Scream. Will We Ever Stop Screaming?’
This isn’t the first time Carrey has gotten political, previously announcing a boycott of Facebook for their role in Russia’s attack on the 2016 election.
“I’m dumping my @facebook stock and deleting my page because @facebook profited from Russian interference in our elections and they’re still not doing enough to stop it. I encourage all other investors who care about our future to do the same. #unfriendfacebook”
Carrey followed up that tweet with a statement to CNBC that included this key line:
“Now, social media has created cyber-bridges over which those who do not have our best interest in mind can cross and we are allowing it. No wall is going to protect us from that.”
