Voters and politicians alike are getting their ducks in a row to prepare for the 2020 presidential election, and the Democrats are clamoring to remove President Donald Trump ,and simultaneously nostalgic for the Obama administration of years past.
These days, liberals are bombarding former Vice President Joe Biden with questions about his potential run for office.Biden, who is currently 75, would be 77 while seeking the presidency. That would make him the oldest person to seek the presidency in United States history. Meanwhile, Trump would be 74 if he sought a second term, making him close in age to Biden.
“If Trump runs, Biden is suggesting he’s likely to do it because age won’t be a factor,” a source close to Biden told FOX Business. “He also thinks he can beat Trump.”
While at first glance it may seem strange that Biden would only want to run against someone who is a similar age as himself, it actually makes perfect sense. Running for office is stressful, and navigating the campaign trail takes a huge mental and physical toll on candidates and their staff. To be in your late seventies and taking on such a feat is not for the faint of heart. Therefore, being more evenly matched from a physical sense is less about strategy and more about self-preservation.
Naturally, Democrats — particularly fans of Biden and Obama — are energized about the potential for Biden 2020.
I told my 96 year old grandpa that today & got so happy & excited !!
That would be glorious !

Democrats would be smart to follow what Joe Biden is thinking here. Out of the box ideas.
He's considering naming a running mate right away.
He's considering announcing he's running very soon.
He's considering pledging for one term only. https://t.co/NoLJYHCSRn
