Roseanne Barr is a big supporter of President Donald Trump, but that doesn’t mean she’s going to let him take credit for her success. Trump attributed the success of the “Roseanne” reboot premiered to explosive ratings — around 25 million views to be more specific to himself.
Barr has made it clear that she is the only one responsible for her own success.
When asked by TMZ on Monday her thoughts on “President Trump taking credit for your ratings,” Barr quickly responded with a laugh.
“It’s all me!” the sitcom star exclaimed with a grin.
In the “Roseanne” reboot, Barr stars as an avid Trump supporter who clashes with her family politically. “Roseanne,” which aired from 1988 to 1997, has been revived with the same working-class family dynamics that made the show so famous decades ago.
President Trump, quick to take credit for anything he can, used a recent speech in Ohio to gloat about his part in the success of the “Roseanne” reboot. “Look at ‘Roseanne’! I called her yesterday. Look at her ratings!”
