German Chancellor Angela Merkel shared a funny picture featuring her and President Donald Trump at the concluded Group of Seven (G-7) summit.
We could see that the body language in the photo makes it obvious that the meeting was tense.
The photo was posted to Merkel’s official Instagram account, with a caption describing it as a “spontaneous meeting between two working sessions.”

The photo comes amid growing tensions between Trump, Merkel, and other G-7 leaders over trade disputes. While speaking Saturday at the summit, Trump threatened other leaders that if they do not reduce trade barriers, the U.S. is “not going to deal” with them.
Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe is also standing with his arms crossed and Trump’s national security adviser John Bolton can be seen in the photo.
Twitter had a field day:
“We have a new word in German to describe you, Mr. Trump: Mankindertweetfuhrer. It means ‘man-baby dictator who rules via Twitter.’ Enjoy your early flight; the rest of us have real work to do now.” #G7Summit

Donald Trump’s body language says it all. Defiance before Germany’s Chancellor Merkel at the G7 summit.
