Watergate icon John Dean just reacted to Manafort’s plea with dire prediction for Trump family

Since former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort agreed to a plea deal with Special Counsel Robert Mueller to avoid facing a trial over charges of conspiracy and failure to register as an agent of a foreign country, things have not been great for the president.

Now, John Dean, who served as White House Counsel for President Richard Nixon, has weighed in on the Manafort news.

Dean mocked Trump’s claims that the Mueller probe is a witch hunt. He made a joke about “broomsticks breaking the sound barrier” as they crash to earth because there are no “witches” and the investigation is clearly legitimate.

Dean predicted that “the entire Trump family” is now in jeopardy and that Manafort will not receive a presidential pardon from Trump. He believes Manafort flipping spells the end of this administration and that “nightmares at the White House will be unending.”

Obviously, Dean knows a thing or two about failed presidencies, so his prognostication should be taken seriously. Hopefully, he proves to be correct and our nation is soon rid of the disastrous leadership its currently suffering under.
