Trevor Noah has stirred the anger of the White House when he admitted to feeling intense negative emotions toward the President Donald Trump administration for their recent attitudes toward domestic violence and sexual abuse.
“Every time I think I’ve reached the highest level of disgust with this administration, I’m right, but then they invent another level,” Noah said Thursday night.
The Daily Show host referred to the recently released news that for perhaps a year, high-level Trump officials reportedly knew White House Staff Secretary Rob Porter was facing accusations of domestic abuse by two of hos ex-wives and did nothing about it.
Noah flipped out when he heard the news, saying, “I miss the days when White House staffers were fired for fun stuff. Spicey couldn’t talk, the Mooch couldn’t shut up, Steve Bannon couldn’t shower. But I’m sorry, this story hits me hard. Because, not only did the White House have a domestic abuser in its midst. A lot of the people there, especially chief of staff and alleged ‘adult in the room’ John Kelly just ignored it for months.”
